Diego Boneta is doing it all… whether it's filming a movie or releasing a single, the actor and singer is just getting started. The former Scream Queens actor is now on the cover of our 50 Mas Bellos. Amidst his crazy schedule, Boneta had the chance to tell us his next career moves and what you should talk about if you met him.
What are your plans for this year?
Diego Boneta: Now I'm finishing filming The Titan, where I'm shooting with big actors. I'm about to release new singles and it has truly been a great surprise to see how the public has responded with my return to music. This May, there will be a new single. In acting, I have other very good projects. The film I did of Pelé, produced by Imagine, is a movie that came out in April.
Between music and acting, have you ever considered choosing one since they're both very demanding?
DB: They are extremely demanding. Now that I'm doing both, it's crazy because all my friends who do both, I tell them to take their time with each. I am now doing both at the same time, which are two full-time jobs completely parallel and I have to be in five places at once all at the same time. But that's how it is. They're both passions of mine and both are going very well. It's a matter of showing up and working.
On the opposite sex, what is the first thing you see?
DB: I think where you can really get to know someone is looking into their eyes, it also is not necessarily the first thing I see, but I am a person that if I have a conversation with someone or when I talk to a girl is very important to see their eyes.
What do you like to talk about?
DB: I like talking about the goals of a person, what they're passionate about- that's how you really get to know someone: what are their dreams, what is their passion in life. I am a very passionate person, I think it's the word that I can best describe myself as and I identify with passionate people who have a desire that drives them crazy.
