There's no doubting the impact that Selena Quintanilla had on music lovers around the world. The late Tejano star made her name known, even for people who didn't know a word of Spanish. Last year was a huge year for the singer's legacy with wax figure of her being created at Madame Tussauds, a limited edition makeup collection inspired by her at MAC Cosmetics and even the announcement of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for 2017. 21 years after Selena's death, her music continues to resonate with her fans and bring in new and younger ones.

As if you needed anymore proof of the Grammy-award winner's effect on the music industry, FBE produced a video of people from various backgrounds watching Selena perform. The participants shared their feelings and some of them sang along while others began to cry.

Selena was compared to Beyoncé, Madonna and Michael Jackson. "People compare her to the Spanish Madonna. F *** that. She's the Spanish Michael Jackson,”said one of the participants. “She was brought as a little girl on stages by her parents with her siblings. It's the same story."
