Thematically speaking, we generally associate clouds and rain with sadness and gloominess. But what if that cloud happened to rain tequila?

An art installation popped up in Berlin featuring, get this, a cloud made of water and tequila vapor. Patient guests of the exhibit would be able to collect tequila rain drops in shot glasses for a little mid-gallery aperitif. Because, you know, why not?

Creative agency PENCIL is the brains behind the magical booze-cloud. They partnered with the Mexican Tourism Board to launch the art piece in Berlin, no doubt as a way to attract German tourists to Mexico.

And you know, if you're going to try to attract tourists, you might as well do it with ~~~ science ~~~

“The tequila was pushed into an invisible plastic structure where sprays of tequila mixed with the vapor formed the cloud,” Luciana Cani, executive creative director of LAPIZ told The Huffington Post. “With the plastic, we created a base the vapor could form around. But the most important function of the plastic was to work as a condensation surface for the tequila mist.”

This definitely brings new meaning to the childhood practice of catching raindrops on our tongues, don't you think?
