The Paper House, of which its fourth season has just been released, has become a huge international success and the subject of endless discussion on the networks.

But, how much do you know about this production?

The first two days after the premiere of the new season, on April 3, the series had a higher demand on Netflix than average and surpassed other popular shows such as Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Westworld, Forbes magazine reported.

Here are five fun facts from the series that you probably didn't know:

1- At the time of starting the creative and production process of the program, its creator and screenwriter Álex Pina had another title, Los Desahuciados, he revealed in an interview on Antena 3. They decided to change it to the one he now has in reference to the Casa de La Moneda y Timbre, the place where the plot of the first and second seasons takes place.

2- The emblematic theme of the series "Bella ciao" is a symbol of resistance against fascism in Italy that later crossed borders and for years has been sung on festivals of left parties.

3- The character from Tokyo, masterfully played by Úrsula Corberó, is inspired by Mathilda, the girl from the feature film León [The professional] who launched Natalie Portman to the star, according to the Spanish news page Zeleb.

4- Currently, the series occupies position number 3 in the IMDB ranking, being the only Spanish series that shines in the top 100 of the favorites by the public in the streaming services category. The first place is held by Ozark and the second by Tiger King.

5- The first episode of La Casa de Papel had to be shot half a hundred times. The idea was that the actors could connect deeply with their character.
