After Carlos of England announced that he is positive in coronavirus, now a new announcement of contagion is made from the government. Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister, also suffers from Covid-19.
This has been reported from his residence in Downing street through an official statement. At the moment he has mild symptoms and is totally isolated.
The test was performed at home by a member of the British Health Service. Johnson himself informed citizens of his current state through a video on Twitter.
“During the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and I have tested positive for coronavirus. Now I am isolated, but I will continue to lead the government response through video conferencing as we fight this virus. Together we will overcome this”, he has written.
Shortly after the news was released, his partner, the British Health Minister, Matt Hancock also confirmed that he had been infected and was also isolated in his home.
