They have been together for more than seven decades and despite everything they experienced, the good and the less good, Jimmy and his wife Isabel had never been separated under any circumstances.
The coronavirus scourge has directly affected this elderly couple in Texas who, due to preventive measures, cannot live together until the situation is under control.
The woman had to be admitted to a center after breaking a leg and now she is not allowed to leave it due to the current situation. Although neither is infected, at the moment they can only be seen through a glass.
"It's sad that we can't see each other," says Jimmy, 91. His wife remains hospitalized until further notice. Now it is better to stay there for the good of all.
Every day at the same time, her prince charming goes to visit her at the window where they greet each other with smiles and their hands. It is not easy but they are willing to do it as long as it takes until this hell passes. "I am half deaf but as you want we talk a little," he explains excitedly.
Their love has gone through worse stages, so this one will also overcome it. "We have struggled a lot but here we are," he says with wet eyes. All our love and strength for this dear couple.
