To be supportive there is no age limit. This has been shown to us by Margarita Gil Baro, an 88-year-old woman who suffers from Parkinson's disease. Despite her illness and unstable pulse, she has dusted off her sewing machine and has set to work to make facemasks against the coronavirus.
The granny tore off and carried out 50 face masks in order to contribute her grain of sand to all the hospitals that need it so much in these days of scarcity.
“It is only fair that we help because all the doctors and all the nurses do what they can and more. We are going to go out little by little, but we will go out”, he said in this video that has gone viral.
The woman made the masks with cloth and lined them with cotton that she kept at home these days of isolation. Her heroic and supportive gesture has been applauded by the users of the networks who, moved, have dedicated thousands of applauses and hearts.
The Facebook post already has nearly seven million views and has been shared by thousands of people. We join those applauses for such a big heart. Thank you infinite Margarita!
