One of Andrés Manuel López Obrador's campaign promises was to sell the presidential plane that his predecessor Enrique Peña Nieto had built because he considered it a waste for Mexico. However, until now the respective transaction has not been finalized; For this reason, the president of the Aztec nation proposed an open raffle to recover the investment of the aircraft and today surprised everyone by showing the design of the lottery ticket to carry out the corresponding draw.

"Lottery Prize. Those of the lottery say that it would be a great draw. It is a very big thing,”López Obrador revealed to the media during his usual morning conference. "We already have, for example, even the design of the ticket."

The Mexican president showed an image with the outline of what would be the ticket for the so-called "Special Draw" where you can read "Grand Prize: Presidential Plane." Also, a photograph of the mentioned transport is included. In addition, the draw is planned to take place next Tuesday, May 5, to commemorate the 158th anniversary of the Battle of Puebla.

"It is a cooperation for medical teams and hospitals where people are cared for free of charge," is the phrase that is printed in the so-called little lottery and repeated by AMLO.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that there is still no response from the United States to buy the plane. He also mentioned that a sale offer was made to the Canadian government because the aircraft on which the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is traveling suffered a breakdown, but so far no transaction or proposal has been made on his part.
