According to a source close to the singer, the interpreter's mother remains under medical care in a delicate state of health.

The matriarch was hospitalized in mid-December with a severe headache. In the hospital they detected that he suffered a stroke.

Days later, she underwent surgery, which was successfully performed. Still, doctors predict a 50 percent chance of improvement.
