The host Carlos Calderón is one of the most comical characters in the morning program Despierta América (Univision), however, the Mexican confessed that he suffers from depression.

The also architect opened his heart in conversation with Raúl González during his turn in the series Who are we ?, in which the program tries to present his talent to the public in a transparent way and from the community of his home.

"I have been suffering from depression for many years, I know that," he confessed. “Just like I am short, I have my tummy, I have my depression. I have tried antidepressants, I have tried everything and I have found that the best solution to not be depressed is to be happy”.

"I wanted to come to the United States since I remember," was another of the revelations he made, relating that his opportunity to emigrate from Mexico to American soil was with a television contract after studying architecture.

In addition, Calderón said he remembers his deceased father with a calm heart after having fulfilled his father's last will and throwing his ashes in the agreed place.
