Raúl González cannot be happier to be back at Despierta América (Univision) as co-presenter. His return to the chain, which he said was a miracle no one expected. Why? Here we give the details exclusively.

You're back in Awake …

I had already worked with Univision for 12 years. If I was writing a book about this chapter of my life it would be called gratitude. Appreciation for many things, logically, this did not have to happen, it was not in the plans for this to happen. If I speak from the spiritual plane, I believe that there is not a leaf that moves or falls without the will of God. This to me is like a miracle. It is a favor that God and life do me dad.

Why do you say it is a miracle that you did not expect?

I returned to Univision two years ago to be a part of Telethon USA. And Luz María Doria began to invite me from time to time. In the first place, it happened that poor Carlitos Calderón, -with whom I have an excellent relationship- passed him his foot and they asked me to go [to cover him]. In addition to that, Ana Patricia Gámez receives the invitation to do Enamorándonos (Univision). Until a couple of weeks ago, I was spoken to and told that there was a chance that [I would stay permanent], and I said, 'If I am invited I will go and if I like it, I will stay.' That happened over a period of three weeks.

What will happen to your other projects?

I'm still on the radio and we're looking at the possibility of a schedule change. I also finish a show this weekend. I'm doing a comedy where I sing and dance tap. It's officially called Gay 3: Operation Korea. This weekend I'm going to New York, I'm going to the Latin Grammy in Los Angeles, I'm still doing Telethon. It was an exclusive contract with the chain.
