Surprises do not stop in Telemundo's hit telenovela The End of Paradise. The fiction starring Carmen Villalobos lived last Friday one of its bloodiest chapters to date with the surprising death of two of its main characters.
The episode began with the death of Dayana, alias La demonia (Elianis Garrido), who was murdered at the hands of La diabla (Kimberly Reyes), and ended with the cruel murder of journalist Daniel Cerón, played since 2016 by Colombian actor Juan Pablo Plain.
For both Elianis and Juan Pablo the death of their characters marks the end of one of the most important and successful stages of their careers, especially for the Colombian actress, who was barely unknown to the Hispanic public in the United States before entering in 2017 for the first time in the skin of this character who has given him so much popularity.
"For me it has been a very cool growth to play a character so evil but at the same time so funny that it has generated a real change in me", confesses excited in an exclusive interview with People en Español Elianis, who has more than 4 million followers alone On Instagram.
“I am very grateful to Telemundo, to El final del paradise, to Gustavo Bolívar, to my directors, to my cast. Dayana 'la demonia' has ironically been a great blessing for my career,”adds the 31-year-old Colombian model.
Juan Pablo, who was part of the fiction since its premiere in 2016, only has words of thanks for all those who made his participation in this story possible, which, he says without hesitation, 'marked my life as an actor and as a person'.
“It was almost three years of working with a great team. It was my return to work in Colombia and I found a wonderful company like Fox from the hand of Telemundo and with some librettos by Gustavo Bolívar that took me through this whole Daniel Cerón trip and well, the only thing I have for all those who had to to see with this production and also with you, the public, is gratitude. All the gratitude in the world because definitely one as an actor is nobody without your audience, one as an actor is nobody without your team behind you, so all the love and all the gratitude for you,”said the actor on Instagram.

The end of paradise is broadcast on Telemundo at 9 pm Eastern time.
