"It is an open ending, but very interesting where I believe that everyone, the good and the bad, in some way will have what they deserve," advanced his villain, Kimberly Reyes, days ago, on the outcome of the saga that stars Carmen Villalobos. And she was not mistaken. After five successful seasons, last night Telemundo's successful novel reached its grand finale and effectively good triumphed over evil and the villains had their punishment, such as the devil (Reyes), who ended up extradited and in prison, or Mariana (Stephania Duke) who paid for all the evil he did with his own life. But there were also many questions in the air since it was never known what happened to some characters in the saga, such as Nachito (Juan Pablo Urrego), Santiago (Roberto Manrique) or the new “black hand”, to name a few.

Equally controversial was the outcome of its protagonist, Catalina (Villalobos), since although she was exonerated from all charges against her and promoted within the agency in recognition of her actions, it did not have a particularly happy ending in the love field. Because she was left alone dedicated to the care of her granddaughter and to the Sinus Foundation, there is a paradise waiting for Titi to one day wake up from the coma in which she was left after saving her life.

As expected, the outcome generated uncountable criticism on the networks as many fans expected the story to have a more powerful and complete ending.

"I think they should do something with that ending, it is a lack of respect for the public that followed the soap opera from the beginning," you can read among the thousands of comments that have flooded social networks.

An opinion that does not seem to differ much from that of its protagonist, Villalobos.

"Honestly, I wanted a different ending, the truth," the Colombian actress sincerely said in an exclusive interview with People en Español.

"But I am an actress and my job is to listen so I listened," she adds.

And it is that for Villalobos, like the vast majority of viewers who were not very happy with the outcome, his character deserved another ending.

"Catalina deserved another ending and I say it as a fan, not even as an actress because I am also a fan of the series, in fact I am one of those who I start to comment with the fans, so I do feel that another ending deserved the truth", recognizes the beautiful interpreter.

If the outcome of the saga had depended on her, the actress is clear that she would have pleased the public in relation to the love story between Cata and El Titi.

“I think that if it had been in our hands, both in Grego's and in mine, we would have been very pleased. We never lied when we promoted at the beginning of this season that the public and we had liked, but we liked putting them together in some chapters not for the end, so nothing I would have liked more if it had been like this, she is honest.

"I feel that if Cata had given him a second chance they would have had a difficult relationship, because it is also facing the whole world, but why not, it could have happened and we could have seen a very beautiful story."

And it is that the actress has always been a great advocate for Cata and El Titi.

“Every time that couple goes on the air, people die, we die and fall in love, so I can really tell you that thanks, total thanks for loving Cata and El Titi so much, thanks for believing in second chances and thanks for connecting with we always. I'm really never going to have enough words to express so much appreciation.”
