Festival People en Español is a conducive place not only for celebrities to meet fans, but also for unexpected exchanges to take place between celebrities themselves.
This was the case in this new edition that opened its doors this morning on The Armory Track in Washington Heights, in New York, and which runs until Sunday.
After participating in a panel on intrepid women, the Puerto Rican singer Ivy Queen had the opportunity to meet two fans who surrendered at her feet: Mau and Ricky, the children of Ricardo Montaner.
The Venezuelan duo, who was in charge of one of the musical performances of the event, did not hesitate to express their admiration for La Caballota.
"You don't know what it is for us and my family, really," Mau told Queen when they met behind the scenes and in the middle of hugs. " You're wonderful".
In their brief conversation, the rapper encouraged them to think of some kind of collaboration. "Give me an idea, and we go," he told them.
Mau and Ricky were not the only ones to pay homage to the Puerto Rican star. New York Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz, who shared on the panel with Ivy, confessed that it was her music that enabled her to overcome a very delicate personal moment.
The People en Español Festival is held on October 5 and 6 on The Armory Track in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York.
