President Donald Trump's strong immigration policies continue to unleash a wave of terror among undocumented immigrants in the country, not only because of the fear of being deported, but also because of the way that agents from the Immigration and Customs Service (ICE) are exerting force in the process.

A recent video, showing how a group of ICE agents arrest a father who was on his way to the hospital with his family, has sparked a wave of outrage at the coldness of the images.

Florencio Millán, an undocumented immigrant, was intercepted by authorities on Monday, July 24, on a street in Kansas City, while he was driving in his vehicle with his two children and his partner, Cheyenne Hoyt, who decided to make a live video. through Facebook to show their loved ones what was happening.

The immigration agents wanted the father to get out of the car or to show them documents that proved that he was legally in the country. The couple explained to officers that they were on their way to the hospital because their baby needed to go to therapy, which they did not seem to mind.

After the insistent harassment of the officials of the Immigration and Customs Service, Florencio and Cheyenne asked the agents to let them see an order allowing them to be detained, which many experts in the field of immigration advise doing in case of seeing themselves in in the middle of a situation like this.

After more than 20 minutes of detention, one of the officers unexpectedly breaks the driver's window and proceeds to remove Florencio from the car. After being taken out of the car, they throw him to the floor and he is immobilized by several agents, despite the fact that at no time does the father of the family seem to have shown any type of physical resistance.

"Millán-Vázquez did not cooperate and refused to get out of his vehicle and obey legal orders issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the local police," Shawn Neudauer, spokesman for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement service, reportedly said, as reported by CNN in Spanish. "After trying to negotiate with Millán-Vázquez for 25 minutes, the agents had no choice but to make the arrest by physically removing him from the vehicle," he added.
