José Francisco Hernández Pérez was arrested last Wednesday at his residence in Anaheim, California, by authorities in Santa Ana.
The 22-year-old man, leader of a youth group at the Restoration Church in Santa Ana, has been accused of sexually abusing two minors.
According to police reports, on March 5, Hernández sent text messages to the 11-year-old victim ordering him to go to the church bathroom during religious services. It was in this place that the man abused the minor. The minor did not report the incident.
Another 14-year-old girl said Hernandez Pérez attacked her while running a youth program for the church from her home.
It should be noted that José Francisco was a member of the restoration church for three years, according to various media reports.
Police in Santa arrested the suspect on the morning of April 10. In addition to facing multiple charges of child abuse, the court report notes that his bond was set at $ 100,000.
