Mane De La Parra Breaks Ankle While Skiing

During his vacation in Vermont, where Mane de la Parra went skiing with his friends Alejandro Nones and José María Torre, the Mexican actor suffered an accident that immobilized his left ankle.

How are you after that accident you had in the snow?

All perfect. Good and good the truth.

Tell us what happened

After spending a few days with my friends José María Torre and Alejandro Nones, I started to learn new tricks, I had fun like crazy and in one of them my board got stuck. My ankle was twisted and I had a very small bone break caused by the ligaments and tendons.

Will you stay in Vermont?

I'm going to Madrid to see my sister Alondra de la Parra [who is going to] direct the Spanish Philharmonic Orchestra. So [I'm] excited to see her.

What treatment will you follow?

Well, for now only anti-inflammatories, ice and patience, not walking much and doing a sitting gym (laughs).

Will you then continue with your projects?

I have a participation in a Spanish film [and] I will fulfill it. And everything in my work schedule continues without incident. It will take me a few weeks to be 100 percent, but I will be in New York for the launch of the series Queen I Am on May 4. I hope I'm already perfect for it. I am very grateful for all the signs of faith [and] affection from my friends, family and followers and therefore to smile and give it to you that there is no more. The danced and jumped nobody takes them from us!
