Had he not been a singer, Romeo Santos probably would have wanted to follow in the footsteps of Michael Jordan on the basketball courts. Fortunately, the Dominican opted for the microphone, since for what he has shown he would have been hurt.
The bachatero shared a mishap that he lived by imitating the plays of the famous basketball player, who left him with an injured ankle. "Earlier today I went to play basketball with my nephew and I, depriving Michael Jordan, gave a strange jump and injured my ankle," he explained through a video published on his social networks on Tuesday.
The singer showed the injury to all his followers and assured that although he is injured he will not miss any scheduled presentation of his La gira del pueblo: utopía.
"When they see me limping, if they see me limping they know the reason why the tour of the town goes, that only stops God," he said.
It is confirmed that the successful singer will perform for free in around 15 provinces of the Dominican Republic this November.
"In this way I return to my people all the love and support for my career in all these years," he said on his Instagram account after the announcement of his tour of his country.
Lately, the normally private singer has shared with his followers the most intimate moments of his life, such as the recent celebration of Halloween next to his little Valentino, whom he dressed as Robin, from the Batman and Robin duo.
