Angelina Jolie Welcomes Skiing With Her Children In Colorado

Angelina Jolie welcomed the year in the company of her children and enjoying winter sports at the luxurious ski resort of Crested Butte, in Colorado.

The Oscar-winning actress was caught by paparazzi skiing on the first day of the year with her sons Zahara, Knox and Vivienne in photos that were published by the British newspaper Daily Mail.

According to this source, Jolie and her children stayed in a rented mansion whose value is estimated in days, direct access to the ski slopes.

Jolie, who is embroiled in a turbulent divorce with her husband of 2 years, Brad Pitt, was sheathed head to toe in winter gear, yet was easily recognized by removing her wind and snow goggles.

A witness told the aforementioned newspaper that Jolie had some problems during the start of her activities in the snow. "She was seen struggling a bit on the mountain and sometimes fell on the steepest parts of the hills," said the observer. "[Angelina] chose to take off the skis and walk the rest of the way to the bottom [of the street]. She also had electronic thermal heaters."

Pitt and Jolie rocked the world in September when it became known that the actress had filed for divorce and custody of the couple's six children. In the documents presented in court, she alleges “irreconcilable differences” as a cause to end her 2-year marriage.

Pitt and Jolie have six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
