A couple from New York that went on a romantic vacation to the Dominican Republic has disappeared without a trace. Police are desperately looking for Orlando Moore and Portia Ravenelle who moved to the Caribbean nation last March 23 from Newark Airport in New Jersey and who were due to return to their home in Mount Vernon 4 days later, but never did. they made.
Lashay Turner, Moore's sister, was the one who alerted the police after realizing that her brother's car had been parked for days, as reported by NBC News.
The couple had stayed at the Gran Bahía Príncipe Cayacoa hotel in the province of Samaná - in the northeast of the country - and throughout their trip they had hung photos of their romantic trip, until they disappeared. The last photo they posted shows the couple smiling and relaxed on horseback.
On March 27 the couple left the hotel and aboard the car they rented they headed to the airport. The couple's cell phones were turned off.
