A pregnant mother had to fight for her life after a tragic accident on Skyway in Washington state.
King County authorities said a four-year-old boy accidentally shot his mother, who was on tape for eight months.
According to police, the 27-year-old mother was rushed to Harborview Medical Center after being shot in the facial area.
"We never want to see something like this," said Sgt. Ryan Abbott of the King County Sheriff's Department.
Witnesses from the area spoke to the local press.

Delegates said the boy's dad put the gun between the mattress because he was concerned about the recent crime reported in the neighborhood.
Investigators said the weapon had not been secured at any other point and that another child lived there.
"I think the hope is that the guns are locked in people's houses, so something as tragic as this doesn't happen," said Abbott. "Because now this child will be affected forever and we wait and pray to the mother." okay in this situation.”
