February, especially, for Valentine's Day that celebrates love and friendship in the United States and some Latin American countries, multiple companies tend to offer their best products or packages to lovers.

WOW Air has good news for those planning a trip to Iceland for Valentine's Day. The company will give couples traveling in February a return ticket … as long as one of the two passengers is named Valentin.

This is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most creative promotions the brand has perhaps made in a long time.

But what is the trick? It should be reminded that you must read the fine print.

This promotion is for a single passenger return ticket, which means you'll be saving between raring your tickets online first, and then submitting a refund request via email.

Customer appreciation or marketing strategy? The concept of consumerism can come in different versions, sizes and even offers. We therefore recommend that you read the following eligibility requirements and terms to redeem your name for a free ticket.

Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day
  • There must be at least two passengers in the reservation, and the refund will only be processed for one passenger.
  • One of the passengers on the reservation should be named Valentine (see also: Valentine in Canada and France, Valentina in Germany in Denmark, or Valentijn in the Netherlands). Middle names are not eligible.
  • The reservation must include a round trip flight. One-way trips are not eligible.
  • The reservation must be made (and paid) between January 24 and February 14, 2019.
  • Flight dates (round trip) must be between February 10 and February 19, 2019.
  • The reservation must be made directly through the WOW Air website.
  • The destination of the departure flight should be Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF). The departure airport must be Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), New York-Newark (EWR) or Baltimore / Washington (BWI).
  • Travelers should send the booking confirmation along with a photo of the passport of the passenger named Valentine.
  • WOW Air concludes its demand list with the following statement: "If one of the above conditions is not met, the promotion will not take place."

What do they say? Would they sign up?
