These fruits were distributed in the states of Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia. The specific list of establishments where they were offered include Walmart, Aldi, Costco, Fairway Market, Hannaford and Market Basket.
As reported by the FDA, so far they have no record of people affected by Listeria monocytogenes and it is expected that no case will arise.
