A German model who identifies herself as a black woman and uses tanning injections to darken her skin has sparked a huge reaction by claiming in a television interview that she and her white husband are expecting a black baby.
Model Martina Big, 30, and husband Michael Eurwen, 31, who is also using injections to darken her skin, discussed a variety of topics when they appeared on Britain's This Morning (ITV) morning.
Among the curious topics that the couple touched on national television were their wedding, the woman's surgically enlarged breasts and the process of changing the color of their skin. The couple revealed that for the treatment of their skin, they include tanning injections with Melanotan, a synthetic hormone to darken the complexion.
Martina Big previously grabbed headlines due to her plastic surgery, which brought her breasts to a size 32S.
Big says her husband likes the 'natural look' and is definitely NOT intentionally trying to become an attraction. She and her husband are apparently taking all the necessary steps to ensure the physical health of their future child.
"We've also discussed breastfeeding and whether it's safe for me to have a baby," said Big.
Big was questioned by the driver about children "Have the doctors told you that your baby will be black?"
Martina replied: 'Yes, they said they will be black.'
But what if the baby turns white?
"Of course, it will be a mix of me and Micheal," said Martina, "but I'm pretty sure it will be dark, but whether it's milk chocolate or a little lighter doesn't matter.
This Morning fans took to Twitter the idea of the couple having black babies, noting that it is impossible due to their DNA. The thousands of comments were immediate.
