College Gymnast Goes Viral By Receiving Perfect Score

Katelyn Ohashi, a 21-year-old college gymnast, has morphed into a social media sensation after a video of one of her routines went viral via Twitter.

The young woman, who is part of the gymnastics team of the prestigious University of California, not only stole the hearts of the hundreds of spectators who came to see the Under Armour's 2019 Collegiate Challenge live, but also the thousands of users of the networks that they have been captivated by the athlete's charisma.

Ohashi performed his floor routine to the sound of several iconic Michael Jackson songs and at no time did he stop smiling. Between applause and ovations the girl made a fantastic demonstration that likewise captivated the judges of the competition, who did not hesitate to give her a perfect rating of 10 points.

The University of California posted the video of the routine through the gym team's official Twitter account and since then Katelyn has become one of the most talked about topics on the networks. "A 10 is not enough for this floor routine," reads the text that accompanies the publication.

Since the video was published last Sunday, it has managed to obtain more than 505 thousand likes, more than 126 thousand people have commented on the subject and the video has been shared on more than 120 thousand occasions. A viral phenomenon!

As revealed by CNN through its online site, Ohashi is the current queen of university gymnastics in the floor mode. After an injury to her back and one of her shoulders took her out of the Olympic gymnastics, it seems that fate smiles again at this talented athlete.
