Florida Yoga Studio Shooting

A new shooting in Florida, more specifically in Tallahassee, has left three new fatalities, including the one responsible for the shooting. This was explained by Michale DeLeo, local Police Chief.

A gunman, whose details have not yet been revealed, was entering a yoga studio on Friday where he began shooting at people there. According to the authorities, he shot six people before entering the business.

Finally, the person responsible for such acts took his life, shooting himself as reported by the Associated Press news agency.

Democratic Party politician Kristin Jacobs was able to observe what happened from a bar where she was in the area. “A girl entered the bar, she could hardly speak. I was hyperventilating. I heard her say 'shooter',”Jacobs explains to the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper.

The intervention of a man against the murderer was what caused that there were no more victims. "A lot of people are alive because this man got behind the shooter," Jacobs continues in the same newspaper.

Police are continuing the investigation to find out the reasons that led to this terrible shooting. "We are saddened and shocked by the events that occurred, but it is important that people understand that there are no more threats outside of what has already happened tonight," DeLeo told reporters to the dread of area citizens.
