Again the streets of Jacksonville, Florida, are stained with blood with a new shooting that has already left several fatalities and more than a dozen injured. The terrible assault happened during a video game event, the Madden 19 tournament, which took place at the GLHF Game Bar at Jacksonville Landing, a kind of mall full of shops, restaurants and bars.

Immediately after the event, the Sheriff's Office sent an urgent message to citizens: “Stay away from the area. The area is not safe at the moment,”he warned on his Twitter account.

The same office asks those who are "hidden" to remain calm and to stay in their shelters. Security forces are already on the lookout inside the mall and will be watching to see if everyone is safe. "We will catch up with them. Please don't run away,”he warns. In addition, they report that one of the suspects has already been shot but the other is still free.

Images of the moment have already begun to be shown online. In them you can especially appreciate the noise of the shots among the crowd while the participants played their video games. At the moment, as CNN points out, the officers are monitoring the area of the events carefully in order to avoid more victims and locate the person who is on the loose.

The WJXT station has reported on the possible number of fatalities, which at the moment would be four, and eleven wounded. But no data has been officially confirmed as the investigation is ongoing.

For now, local governor Rick Scott has already made available to the police any resources they need to clarify this new case of violence with firearms.
