The video of a woman abandoning a child at the door of a stranger has gone viral. The black and white recording shows how a woman comes running with the child by the hand and her backpack in the other, quickly rings the bell at the door of the house and runs away, leaving the child alone. The woman comes dressed in a jumpsuit, striking earrings and a gold wallet, made-up and with hair arranged with extensions, as if she were going out for a night out. When he rings the doorbell, he doesn't even wait for the door to open and he runs away, getting into a car. The little boy looks at her in bewilderment and stands at the door.

ABC News shared the video, posted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in Spring, Texas, on their Instagram account. The boy was placed in the care of Child Protective Services until her parents were found. Authorities were looking for the woman who abandoned him.

The presenter Mario Andrés Moreno, husband of the presenter Bárbara Bermudo, reposted the video on Instagram and his followers filled it with comments about the alarming case. “This breaks the heart and how the child stares at him when the car leaves. How bad,”said a follower. "My God, what a hard and bad heart that woman's with her own blood, may God have mercy on that little angel," said another.

According to an ABC 13 report, the woman in the video is a friend of the mother of the two-year-old boy, who was identified as Royal Prince Simmons. The boy's father lived next to the house where the woman left him by mistake. When the ABC 13 reporter spoke on the phone with the boy's mother, you hear the mother say that she had no idea that her friend had left him alone without waiting for the door to be opened. The case remains under investigation.
