From captivating decor to unique character interactions, delicious food, and magical experiences, there's something for everyone during the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort. Here we give you a preview of the celebrations that will await visitors from November 8.
Epcot
Discover joyous Christmas traditions from the 11 nations of the World Showcase during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Starting on November 18, festival visitors this year will enjoy a great celebration.
International Christmas dishes will be available at Holiday Kitchens.
The World Showcase pavilions dress up for Christmas with special entertainment.
Chip & Dale will collect decorations for your Christmas tree. On the Chip & Dale's Christmas Tree Spree Christmas-themed treasure hunt, visitors will shop for a map and catchies at select merchandise locations and tour the World Showcase looking for the famous chipmunks with their ornaments. Visitors then return with their completed maps to a lighthearted surprise courtesy of Chip & Dale.
The nightly fireworks show, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, will present a special finale to celebrate the season.
One of Epcot's most popular traditions, the Candlelight Processional, is a retelling of the Christmas story that features a celebrity as a narrator accompanied by an orchestra of 50 instruments and a choir. Three presentations will take place every night from November 22 to December 30.
Magic Kingdom Park
Dazzling decorations, festive snacks, a glittering ice castle, and more await visitors at Magic Kingdom Park, which will transform into a delightful Christmas world.
Christmas festivities in the park will also include Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a limited attendance celebration on select nights that requires a special ticket beginning November 8.
An exclusive edition of the Holiday Wishes fireworks and performances from other shows such as the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and the Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration show will be featured each evening of the event.
Visitors will also enjoy the beauty of the glittering Cinderella Castle, meet characters at their party galas and also feast on cookies and hot chocolate at no additional cost.
