Kisses, hugs, screams of joy and many bottles of champagne were distributed this Thursday in different parts of Spain after the traditional draw for the Christmas Lottery, the famous Gordo, which this year awarded ranks and participations hoping to take a piece which is considered the largest prize pool in the world.
The country is paralyzed and remains pending in the hands of the children of the San Ildefonso school, who are in charge of taking out the balls with the numbers and the prizes in the draw held at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
This year the number graceful with El Gordo was 66513, which was sold entirely in Madrid and distributed more than one year of gas, which for years had been buying tickets finished in 13.
"With all the bad luck I've had in my life, I always said that the 13th would bring me fortune," he said.
Unlike Gordo, the second prize in the draw - paid by some Valencia, Alicante, Malaga or Valladolid.
