A man who asked his girl to marry in the middle of a shopping center was tremendously surprised when the woman not only rejected him, but also planted him in front of all the people.

The events happened in Lagos, the Nigerian capital, and a passerby captured the moment in a video that has now gone viral.

There you can see the woman -unidentified- all dressed in black in front of the man who perched on his knees asks her to marry her. The woman reacts in a way that is perplexing, shouting in her language and questioning her proposal with an accusing finger. Shush! the woman says to the man to keep him away, but he advances towards her - still on his knees - provoking the anger of the woman who slaps him.

After another exchange of words, the woman leaves with the man, closely following her steps and continuing her plea. But that infuriates her more and she fights back with a tremendous slap that sends the man to the ground.

The video emerged on networks this Sunday and since then it has obtained almost 100,000 views provoking comments for and against its protagonists.

The clip recalls what happened with a Spanish youtuber who played pranks on passers-by and who was shocked when one of the victims of his jokes slapped him in the face.

The blow was such that the man published the video as evidence to denounce his attacker, but the shot came out from the butt as he received death threats and had to leave the networks.
