Playboy ex-model Stephanie Adams launched from the 25th floor of a New York building with her seven-year-old son.
As reported by People, Adams' former lawyer, Raoul Felder, has no idea what may have motivated the 47-year-old to jump into the void. "She was a very genuine person, a charming and very polite person," said Felder, 81, who served as Adams' attorney until four months ago. "I never saw her unhappy. Something must have happened in her life and she went crazy.”
The bodies of Stephanie and little Vincent were found last Friday around 8 p.m. on the second-floor balcony of the Gotham Hotel, located on the east side of 46th Street, in Manhattan.
Adams' attorney revealed that Stephanie was in a legal dispute with chiropractor Charles Nicolai for custody of the child. According to Felder, the ex-model intended to travel to Europe with the boy to spend time with her new boyfriend. “[Vincent] was an adorable boy. I used to run through these hallways. [He was] very smart, a beautiful boy. I am not wrapping my head around this. I never saw [Stephanie] sad. Her son was the center of her life.”
Before committing to Nicolai, Stephanie was married for two years to an investment banker.
