They Investigate The Death Of Two Men Who Fell From A Plane In Ecuador

Authorities at the Guayaquil airport and the police in that Ecuadorian city are investigating the deaths of two young men who apparently were trying to travel as stowaways, and who fell from a plane as it was preparing to take off.

The incident occurred this Monday around 9:20 am local time, when according to various sources, the bodies of two men fell from a Latam company plane on the runway. According to sources from Tagsa, the José Joaquín de Olmedo Airport concessionaire, as well as elements from the police and prosecutors, the bodies were found at the height of the southern edge of the airport. A suitcase was found not far from there.

According to a bulletin from the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC), the destination of the aircraft was New York City, but given what had happened, it had to return to the airport and passengers had to be transferred to another plane to carry out the investigations.
