Actress Olivia Lua joined this weekend the growing list of professionals in this field who have lost their lives in recent months after she died in a rehabilitation center in West Hollywood, California.

“There have been many comments recently about the number of adult movie stars who have passed away in the past year. And with great sadness we must report that the list has grown more, said Derey Hay, who works at the LDA Direct Models agency in a statement that was released by the XBIS portal.

The agency clarified that Lua's death is not related to the other four that occurred in less than three months - another of the deceased, Olivia Nova also worked for LDA Direct Models - but added that we are all "deeply shocked and saddened."

Lua, 23, originally from Philadelphia, was known professionally as Olivia Voltaire. According to the agency, she joined her cast in April 2017 and filmed just over three tapes. Last October he stopped shooting to "face some personal challenges." She was expected to resume her work earlier this year.

While it has been speculated that the cause of death was an overdose, so far there is no official report to point this out.

In addition to Olivia Lua and Olivia Nova, in recent months August Ames has also died of alleged suicide; Yuri Luv, from an alleged drug overdose, and Shyla Stylez, who died in her sleep, with the exact cause unknown.
