The creativity of young people has already been revealed in the stock market and other fields. Now, a 16-year-old teenager from Kentucky has just left his family and neighbors open-mouthed after building a roller coaster in the backyard of his home.

Local channel WYMT reported on Friday that young Logan Moore, who lives in Harlan County, spent several weeks working until dawn to finish his project. "I have always been interested in construction and have always had a fascination with wood and wanted to build something," he explained.

Something that helped him realize his dream is having taken carpentry classes at school. According to what he said, he put that knowledge into practice one summer day when he was bored at home. He noticed that there was some wood and an extra pipe and it occurred to him that he could start that project.

The daring boy even stated that he had made a first roller coaster, but since he did not like it he collapsed it and rebuilt it. "I'm more satisfied with this one," he said, speaking of his two-and-a-half meter creation.

Although he acknowledges that he is still working to perfect the journey of the cart that runs through the structure and that there are some weight restrictions that he hopes to change, the young man was satisfied with his work. "I'm going to keep it for a while," said Moore, who aspires to study engineering. "Then I can do another one, I can redesign this one, but I will wait a bit because it has been a lot of work."
