45 Years In Prison The Man Who Cut His Ex's Nipples

Yesterday a South Dakota court sentenced the man who was accused of savagely assaulting his girlfriend and cutting her nipples with scissors. The man must spend 45 years behind bars.

As reported by USA Today, on October 11 of last year, Tony Deval Ledbetter, 45, appeared at his ex-partner's residence and, when they began to argue, he hit her on the head, threw her on the floor and began to suffocate her; He even tried to put a blanket in her mouth so that her screams were not heard. Then he sat on her and scissors cut both nipples.

The poor woman was able to free herself from her attacker and ran for help, meanwhile Ledbetter called 911 and was arrested immediately.

Last week, during the trial, that poor woman's attacker was a completely different man. He remained seated, calm and silent throughout the hearing. He was barely heard saying an occasional "Yes, sir" or "No, sir" in response to questions from the prosecutor or his lawyers.

Instead her victim gave a powerful and horrible description of what happened that night in which she was so savagely mutilated. It also revealed how her injuries have affected her physically and emotionally for the rest of her life.

At one point, the woman turned to her attacker and asked, "Do you feel like a man?" And before finalizing her statement, she told the jury: "She told me she was a good guy … Good (men) don't do this."
