Everything seems to indicate that The Weinstein Co.'s sex scandal, which started when dozens of women accused its founder Harvey Weinstein of charges ranging from sexual harassment to rape, could be just beginning. Now his brother is also being accused of improper conduct.

According to Variety, a television producer named Amanda Segel says that in 2016 Bob Weinstein repeatedly made romantic advances to her while working together on The Mist, the series of which she was the executive producer. Part of that harassment, she says, included an invitation to visit her at her hotel and several invitations to private dinners.

Segel points out that this harassment would have lasted three months and that it only ended because her lawyer intervened in the situation, informing the company that, if that type of conduct continued, she would have to withdraw from that project.

In a statement, the executive's attorney stated that there is no basis for his client to be guilty of sexual harassment. "Even if you believe what this person claims, there is no way it will come to that."

Segel also says that he hopes all this will at least serve to make a woman's posture more respected: “'(Say) No' should be enough; When you say 'no', anyone who has invited you out should accept it and turn the page. Bob kept insisting that he just wanted a friendship; but it wasn't true, he wanted something more. My hope is that, from now on, 'no' will be enough”.
