In an unprecedented decision, People en Español magazine has cast aside celebrities who tend to occupy their covers to give DREAMers a voice in its November issue.

The magazine - which went on sale this Thursday - highlights a paramedic, a chef, a student, a lawyer and an actress who bravely told us their story, from the time they arrived as undocumented minors in this country until the moment they President Donald Trump announced the end of the DACA (Deferred Action Consideration for Childhood Arrivals) program, which prevented his deportation.

Jesús Contreras, who participated in the rescue efforts and helps the victims of Hurricane Harvey, tells us about his effort to save lives in flooded Houston, Texas.
