The Incredible Mission Of A Noble Grandfather In A Hospital

Although the stars of social networks are above all the rich and famous, an Atlanta grandfather is shining in them thanks to the work he has been doing as a volunteer in a hospital in that city: he is in charge of hugging and filling some babies with tenderness that are born premature.

The Atlanta Children's Healthcare Facebook page posted a video showing the noble old man named David Deuthcman singing a lullaby to a newborn baby, while tenderly stroking it.

The hospital explains that this is a volunteer job that he carries out that "they call him the grandfather of the ICU" and his job is to visit the pediatric intensive care area every Tuesday to hold those whose parents cannot be with them that day.

Deutchman explains in a video shared by that social network that when his friends ask him what he does in the hospital, he simply replies: "I carry babies. Sometimes they vomit me, other times they urinate me … But it is wonderful."

The sweet volunteer also smiles when he comments that his friends do not understand that he carries out this noble mission. "Simply the kind of satisfaction you get from holding a baby like this."

Last week that institution had also shared a photo of Deutchman doing that job, which went viral. But the biggest success was this video that, shortly after, was also shared by this medium, which has already reached a quarter of a million views.
