The husband of a young mother and teacher who was found dead in her home last weekend was arrested and charged with her death on Tuesday, People reported.

Andrew MacCormack, 29, of Massachusetts, was arrested at the Revere local police station for the death of his wife, Vanessa MacCormack, 30, authorities said in a statement reproducing the magazine.

The note indicates that forensic examination revealed that the victim suffered a severe blow to the head, severe and punctured injuries to the neck, and suffocation. In addition, police said in the statement that the evidence suggested that the killer made a great effort to clean up the crime scene and dispose of the used objects.

"Evidence suggests that her death was a crime of domestic violence, committed in the same place where she could have been safer - in her own home," prosecutor Daniel F. Conley said in a statement. "It was critical in the past few days to gather certain information, until we tied the facts and the evidence together."

How did the police get to the MacCormack couple's house? On Saturday afternoon, a 911 call was received from the husband. Officers who attended found the victim with signs of trauma.

Suspicions fell on the husband, according to People, after surveillance camera videos were found after the search warrant, interviews were conducted and the record of calls was examined. When a local newscast interviewed Andrew, the man cried in front of the cameras.
