After the 7.1-magnitude earthquake that hit part of Mexico and had an epicenter in the city of Puebla, a club where the Argentine Jonás Aguirre plays, the player recounted the feelings he had to experience at the time of the earthquake.

“We finished training, we were entering the locker room and everything began to shake, everything moved. Immediately we went back out to the field of play and we stayed there until it stopped”, Aguirre began counting.

He also related what his teammate Gabriel Esparza, a compatriot and former player of Temperley and San Lorenzo, had to live: “He had to come to stay at my house because the tower where he lives cracked and was in danger of collapse. Then some old houses and buildings collapsed here in the city, but we saw it all for the news,”he said on TyC Sports.

Lastly, the former Necaxa acknowledged that three weeks ago another tremor that affected Mexico was “felt enough”, but that this time it was more serious because the epicenter was in Puebla, the city where he is living with his girlfriend.

"I am stopping at Jonás Aguirre's house, my building cracked and we had to evacuate," Esparza said today, who will have to stay there until the situation is resolved.
