Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle welcomed their eldest daughter this Sunday.
“On this day, a small star has agreed. Meet Alena Rose Jonas. The announcement was made via Twitter by the baby detergent brand Dreft.
After some false alarms, Kevin, 26, finally announced that the girl was already arriving, even sharing an image on the hospital monitor with the hashtag #thisisnotadrill (“this is not a trial”), and then tweeting to his followers that Danielle had already started contractions.
Since they confirmed that they were expecting a child together, the couple has allowed their fans to follow their entire pregnancy, sharing their experiences - including the moment they learned about sex - on social media.
“So many celebrities often hide their pregnancies and keep everything a secret. Why? It is a moment of such happiness that we are going to tell everyone and we want everyone to enjoy it,”Kevin said in statements to Fit Pregnancy magazine.
