Mario Saenz Is Suspected Of Murder

Mario Sáenz, considered one of the best skateboarders in Mexico, was arrested for the alleged murder of his girlfriend in a hotel in the Federal District.

According to information from the Mexican portal However, the events occurred last Sunday, after Mario and his girlfriend spent the night at the Novo Coapa hotel, located south of Mexico City. The couple ordered a few beers and then at 5:30 in the morning, Saenz left the property alone and indicated at the reception that his girlfriend would stay in the room for a while.

After the building's staff failed to register the young woman's departure, one of the employees knocked on the room around 3:30 p.m. and no one answered the call, so she opened the window to see what was happening and found that there was blood stains on the wall.

He immediately notified his colleagues and the hotel manager along with other employees entered the room that was full of steam, because the shower was on. There they found the woman's body covered in blood. Paramedics confirmed that the cause of the girl's death was caused by a deep wound made by a sharp weapon to the neck.

Thanks to the description that a hotel employee provided to the authorities and with the recording of security cameras, the police captured Saenz, who they consider to be the main suspect in the death of his girlfriend.

So far, more details of the murder are unknown. Some of the skater's followers have started a campaign in his defense through social networks with the tag #JusticiaParaMario.
