Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's wife is in the midst of a controversy over bragging her clothes on Instagram and responding angrily to those who criticized her for her message.
The controversy began when this Monday, Louise Linton, 36, posted a post where she showed a photo descending from a plane next to her husband on a trip they took with members of Congress to Kentucky.
In the message, the Scottish-born actress - who married nuptial Mnuchin, 54, in June - mentioned the brands that made up her all-white outfit, including Tom Ford, Valentino, and Roland Mouret.
Critical comments were swift, but one in particular took its toll on the secretary's wife. The post came from a user named Jenni Miller who according to The New York Times said: “What a pleasure we were able to pay for your little getaway. #Deplorable.
