The celebrities who have been in trouble for having sung some character of dubious profession often argue that they did not know anything because it is their representatives who coordinate their hiring of individuals, so they do not know the identity of their clients.

That is what Enrique Guzmán says happened to him when he offered a concert at the party of a drug trafficking member.

"One day a lady hired me to come sing for her husband's birthday," Guzmán explained to the media. “I went out on stage and it was the track, and around, far away, a lot of people. The party lord came up to me and said, 'You know what you need.' Then I realized that it was in the hands of a gangster."

The event was held in a luxurious hall in Mexico City and the singer witnessed the expenditures around such celebration. "I passed the gift table and there were gold watches and car deeds," he added.

The interpreter of “La plaga” considers that this type of situation “is an accident” for artists who put their personal safety and professional integrity at risk, because they do not discover who they are working for until the time of their presentation.

"Who was going to tell me that this man was this man, but the woman hired me. They are very terrible risks”, warned the singer. "If at that moment the authorities come and the party intervenes, I go to [the prison] me too."

Guzmán also stunned the public when in an interview on the Mexican television program Hoy (Televisa), he revealed that Silvia Pinal wanted to abort their daughter, Alejandra.

"When he was pregnant with Alejandra, he wanted to have an abortion, but I did not allow it, I said 'we are going to get married, we are going to do whatever it takes, but the girl has to be born,'" she assured. "For me, all conceived children have to be delivered."
