Ohio authorities are accusing abusing a body and obstructing justice of Arturo Novoa, 31, for having hidden the dead body of his girlfriend, Shannon Graves, in the refrigerator of his home. And all while another woman named Katrina Layton, 34, was moving in with him, she began to use the clothes of the deceased, her credit cards, her cell phone and even appropriated her dog.

Since February, the relatives of Graves, 28, had not heard from her, she was even on the State Attorney General's list of disappeared, but it was not the police who found her, but a friend of Novoa's.

Over the weekend Novoa asked that friend to allow him to keep his refrigerator at home because, he said, he had run out of electricity. When the friend and his wife brought him the device, they felt that something was wrong, since the fridge was locked with a padlock. Stealthy, they decided to open it and to their horror, in doing so they discovered the corpse of a woman inside.

Although the remains have not yet been officially identified, nor has the cause of death been determined, both the police and prosecutors believe they are those of Graves.

So far, no one has been charged with a homicide, as Youngstown Police Lt. Doug Bobovnik stated, authorities still have "no idea what caused (Graves') cause of death."

While authorities continue to investigate the death of this woman, both Novoa and Layton remain in jail and have been set a bond of $ 1 million each. It is unclear whether his guilty plea has already been surrendered.
