A 21-year-old man was arrested in Louisiana for hiding in his ex-girlfriend's attic to harass her and then threaten her with a knife.

Lafourche Parish police revealed that on May 3 they arrested the man, named Taylor Broussard, after an incident was reported in the home of his ex-girlfriend - whose name was not disclosed - in the town of Larose. The man reportedly threatened the girl with his fists and a knife.

Authorities have revealed that at the time of the attack, an unidentified teenager screened the young girl to defend her from her stalker. Police revealed that the young man managed to flee by stealing the keys of his ex-girlfriend's SUV, his cell phone and his bag. The car was later located in the city of Baton Rogue and the suspect was found shortly after.
