The Hispanic girl who survived a deadly accident in Fresno, California, whose video has been broadcast on networks, has broken the silence to address the tragedy for the first time.

Manuela Seja, 14, was one of the three passengers in a Buick car - in which sisters Obdulia and Jacqueline Sánchez, 18 and 14 years old, respectively, were traveling - who suffered a road accident near Los Banos, California, taking the life of the younger sister.

"She planned to pick me up every weekend," Seja said of Jacqueline Sánchez, with whom she befriended about seven months ago, according to her statements to the KFSN station in Fresno.

Seja resides there, while her friend lived about 130 miles away, in the city of Stockton. Just on that journey the tragedy occurred.

The circumstances of the incident have not been entirely clear. On the one hand, videos emerged on social networks, including on Instagram and Snapchat, showing the time of the accident. In them, Obdulia Sánchez is seen singing and recording a video while driving. This clip shows when the young girl loses control of the car and how, after recovering, she records her dying sister while asking her to "wake up".
