Quentin Tarantino, once again places himself in the eye of the hurricane by announcing his new film project. The director will shoot a movie about the murders carried out by Charles Manson and members of his La Familia sect, according to the American media outlet The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite the fact that the script, also written by Tarantino himself, is still in process, it is mentioned that part of the plot will cover the murder of actress Sharon Tate, which occurred in 1969. This case was relevant because the then wife of the filmmaker Roman Polanski, was eight months pregnant at the time of his death.

This still untitled bet will be the first by the author of Kill Bill to be based on real events and will be produced by his regular collaborators, Harvey and Bob Weistein. It is unknown whether, as part of the investigation, the filmmaker has spoken to Manson, who was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes and is still held in prison.

According to this medium, the director has already had contact with some of the actors that he is interested in including in his cast, such as Brad Pitt, with whom he worked in Inglorius Basterds, to play the role of the detective in charge of the investigation; as well as Jennifer Lawrence who would enter a stellar plan.

Also mentioned is the participation of Margot Robbie, to play the late Tate, and the presence of Samuel L. Jackson, recurring actor in his films.
