2017 has started in a hectic way for the beautiful Jennifer Lopez, who this Wednesday filed through her legal team a complaint against a subject with a violent past whom she accuses of harassing her.
In response, a judge ordered the alleged harasser, Timothy McLanahan, to keep at least 100 yards away from JLo and his family.
According to TMZ.com, López's attorneys state in documents that the subject has been following the Bronx Diva from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, sending him flowers and mail that the star does not welcome.
McLanahan was previously arrested for a violation of private property when he suddenly appeared at López's home. One of the artist's bodyguards assured that the individual has a criminal history that includes threats and violations of the laws on possession of weapons.
In the request, López says he fears for his safety and that of his twin twins, Max and Emme Anthony, 8.
Shortly The order issued by the judge determines that McLanahan must remain at least 100 yards from López and his family.
But it's not all bad news for JLo. In the early hours of this Wednesday, her fans received with joy fresh photos of the Diva on Instagram in which she announces who will be the host star of her World of Dance show that she prepares for the NBC network.
That honor fell on the shoulders of Jenna Dewan Tatum, who rose to fame in 2006 through the Step Up film alongside her husband Channing Tatum.
Ne-Yo and Derek Hough also appear in the photos of JLo, confirming the news that they will be judges in the television contest.
NE-YO is, of course, a successful dancer, songwriter, singer, and Grammy Award winner, and Hough is a respected dancer and bestselling author. His joining as judges alongside JLo had already been confirmed in December by NBC executives.
"Jennifer, Derek and NE-YO are three of the most successful dancers of their generation and their incredible experience placed on the judging table will serve to inspire and provide more constructive guidance to the dancers competing on the show," he told the time of announcement Meredith Ahr, president of Universal Television Alternative Studio, according to various media.
